As we were wrapping for the day, there were a group of three young dudes that stopped by. Music blasting from the speakers, the next few minutes became a show as they started to cook. We created a scene as always….that’s what NYC is all about.

KING KATCH.
KING KATCH ORIGINAL
The KING has arrived! Muttpop adds another beautiful figure to their classic Lucha Libre line with King Katch. King Katch was designed by Fabien M and sculpted by Monster5. He stands at approximately 8.5″ (21.5 cm) and comes with fully rotatable fists in a full color box.
Feared for his uncontrollable strength and rage, King Katch is deserted by the Wrestling Federation in the remote jungles of a tropical island in the Pacific Ocean. The setting may have changed but King Katch’s savagery continues. Where once King Katch’s fists of fury pummeled masked wrestlers, they now strike savage tribesmen and the wild beasts of the jungle. In due time, the King will return to reign in the ring!

You might have wondered or still wondering what “The Cookies Mob runs deep” means? Well, it’s a phrase we use to represent everyone that’s shown support to us in any type of way. It also represents all creative people who are chasing their dreams and doing what they love. The Cookies Mob are all of these folks and the Runs Deep part means there’s lots of folks with this same mind frame. One of progression.

Our little baby (Cookies -n- Cream) is growing and we’re doing a little bit of re-branding. No need to fret, we’re still who we are with the same core values that we’ve built the brand on but we’re evolving and that’s a great thing. There’s a saying that goes “Change is the only thing that’s permanent” and that’s something we believe. With that said, we’re super excited to unveil our new logo! We’re also going to be re-vamping our website, so stay tuned. We’ll change the logo on the site with the new website once we launch. Thanks for you folks sticking with us through our journey. WOW! This is going to be one of the illest parties EVER! ILL Banger Thursdaze x Homebase NYC @ White Rabbit. Lawd have mercy! A night of the most fun you will ever have! If you came to the last party which was crazy wild or have seen the pictures, then you know how ILL Banger Thursdaze gets down. For this edition of ILL Banger, we’re bringing the party-starting crew from Homebase NYC to rock with us at White Rabbit!

MAKES CENTS.
We’re big supporters of anything that has to do with giving back to the community. Adam from Comon Cents hit us up to tell us about their brand and what they’re doing for their community in LA. Comon Cents is a clothing company locally based out of LA and are striving to bring art back into the hands of the youth. For every shirt that is bought from Comon Cents, a dollar is donated to a teacher in the LA Unified School District to help funding for art supplies. Their goal is to get art into the middle schools and high schools who cannot afford the program. I think it’s a pretty cool message and we definitely support programs that aim to empower the youth. Check out Comon Cents here and tell Adam we said keep it up.

This Thursday – October 1st, Cookies -n- Cream presents FOREVER YOUNG. An art show featuring the works of Destroy & Rebuild Collective.

LIMITED STAY TRUE PRINT BY SKET-ONE.
If you’ve read the info on our Stay True video magazine that will be dropping soon, then you’ll know the 1st 150 copies sold will be coming with a limited art print by respected artist/toy designer Sket-One. Sket-One is an individual that needs no introduction. His name is one that’s very well known on the graffiti scene & designer toy industry, and he’s a very accomplished illustrator who’s done work for a lot of big companies. His work and toys are collected by many people worldwide, even celebrities (won’t name drop anybody) and he was one of the first artists to customize a dunny for Kidrobot.
For the Stay True limited print, Sket hooked us up with this crazy dope print of his character – Ripple. Pardon my language, but the print is f*cking sick! I’m almost tempted to just keep all 150 prints! Just kidding, won’t do that to you folks but you better make sure you are one of the 1st 150 people that gets their hands on a copy of the dvd. The prints will also be individually numbered from 1 – 150 and will be the only one of its kind. Yes, you get a chance to own a piece of rare art.
