A DAY IN PICTURES.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and I absolutely agree. I did a little running around yesterday taking care of some business and was able to take some pictures along the way. So here’s my day via pictures with a little commentary…

First, I ran into some dude selling these classic vinyl records of some really old skool music..and I mean old skool..

Wow..nice line-up..The O’Jays, Frank Sinatra, Lionel Richie..Even though I wasn’t alive when these people were poppin but my music library runs deep..

Then I stopped by Union Square to take care of some biz, and saw this cat selling these hand painted Obama t-shirts..Sick! Pretty cool dude too, had a nice lil conversation with him.

Walked to Broadway and Prince..stopped to talk to a street artist I met. Name is Iddi and his stuff is cool..nice creative salt shakers or collectible toy pieces..all depends on you..

Took care of some more biz real quick, and on my way back, saw some really dope graffiti by Mulberry and Prince street..

Poked my head in Supreme, WESC, G-Star and Brooklyn Industries real quick to see what’s new..all on the same block…

Stopped to talk with the homies from the Street art collective – Destroy and Rebuild. Nice Naomi joint they just did below..

More biz..then stopped to chat with Randall, who’s a pretty nice dude that wrote this fun little book called The Winner’s Guide to Dating (What I learned about Love and Sex from Texas Hold ‘Em)..and you can pick up your copy here.

Got off to connect with another train at 42nd street, and took some quick pics of a band playing in the subway..

Headed uptown to..

to catch up with Noel – a friend of mine who sells some of the best street art I’ve ever seen..His pieces are sick! He sells a variety of stuff but I’m always blown away by his pieces from an artist named Morganti..

Nice young lady below is an artist..she did the piece in the picture above that’s on the lower left hand corner..she didn’t mind taking pics so here’s pose 1…

Whew! 30 flicks deep..all in a day’s hustle and that’s not even counting the meetings I had etc. Grind mode, homey..They can’t stop this “Thing of Ours”.
