COMING SOON.
If you’ve been following our twitter feed, you’ll recall that we hinted at a huge collaboration between us and our good friend, French artist Skwak. We’re still not ready to spill the beans yet but it is definitely something huge and we’re all very excited about it. We’ve built a great relationship with Skwak over the years as we have worked on various things and it feels so natural to take the next step with this amazing thing we’re working on. It’s going to be huge and you folks definitely have a lot to look forward to.
Here’s something that Skwak did a while back that I’ve always loved. He did an art piece that covered the walls of the Adidas Sneaker delight store in Lisbon. The beauty of the piece is that the whole thing was done in black and white so that people could color in the piece themselves. This was a genius idea to me. Allowing people to interact with the actual store and have an experience rather than just coming in to shop. It’s ideas like this that have always been at the core of who we are. Giving people an experience is necessary for any business. To us, that’s even more important than actually trying to sell anything. To break that monotony of what you already know is a big thing to us. It’s one of the reasons why we’re still here as a thriving brand in such a competitive market.

SKWAKED.
The artwork below should look familiar. It was done by our good friend – French artist Skwak and it’s one of the designs from the collection of t-shirts we did with him. Funky World, to be exact. We took that design, had Skwak add a few elements to it and are using the design for a really great project from the brand that we’ve been working on for a while. It’s almost ready so look out for news and pictures about that project soon but in the meantime, hold on tight and get ready for some really exciting news from us.

SKWAKTASTIC.
A few days ago as we mentioned here, our good friend – French artist Skwak had an opening for his solo show at the Addict Galerie in Paris. Here’s some pictures from the opening night. Skwak is an incredibly talented artist and the pieces from the show look amazing. He has such a recognizable style, soaked with colors and characters with exaggerated features. Very interesting to see, especially in person. Congrats to Skwak on a great opening! If you’re in Paris or the surrounding area, definitely stop by Addict Galerie to check out the work. The pieces will be on display through May 15th.

Our dear friend and extended family member Skwak will be having an art opening at the Addict Galerie in Paris on March 27th. Skwak is such a talented artist and this show is going to be phenomenal. To all our friends in Paris and nearby, definitely make the trip out to the show. You will not be disappointed. Cheers to Skwak!

As you know or should know, our boy Skwak recently had a signing for his Oil Slick Dunny release at KidRobot London. Heard the turnout was great, thanks to all who went. If you’ve been following our brand, then you’ll know we’re currently finishing with the production of our new season of clothing. The new season is a collaboration between us and acclaimed French illustrator – Skwak. We’re doing a total of 4 different pieces and we’re crazy excited to get these out to you! I know a lot of folks have been asking us for the new collection and we’ll have them ready soon but in the meantime, check out one of the designs from the pieces. So sick!

Check out the amazing design on this pillow that was done by our friend – talented French illustrator Skwak. Incredible work. We’re big fans of Skwak‘s work….BIG FANS. We will be dropping the collection of clothing we are doing with him in the very near future. You folks definitely have a lot of goodness to look forward to. We promise.

As I’ve mentioned before, we’re presently working on our new collection of clothing which is also a collaboration between us and our friend from France – Skwak who is a well respected and talented illustrator that has done work for brands such as Nike, Microsoft etc The designs have been coming together incredibly well and you folks are definitely in for an amazing line of t-shirts and sweatshirts. Here’s a cropped shot of a section of one of design..just a little sneak peek. We can’t show you the full designs yet, but trust me, the whole collection is sick!
