3RD WORKS.
Ray “Three” Robinson – Creative director at Gold Coin hit us up about an art show he’s doing in San Francisco. This is his first solo showing and if you already are or going to be in San Fran between April 3rd to the 30th, this is definitely something you should check out. I’m a sucker for colors, simplicity and work that is character driven, and it looks like Ray will definitely be showing pieces in that style. Here’s the info for the show and about Ray “Three”.

for his first solo showing
3RD WORKS
showing: April 3rd – 30th
reception: April 3rd – 8pm to 11pm
ABOUT THE SHOWING:
D-Structure SF is proud to present 3rd Works- a collection of recent works from artist and designer Ray “Three” Robinson 3. The show will be a first of its kind for Ray being his first solo showing to date. 3rd Works will not only be an introduction but a journey into the mind of the artist. Enter a world of bent reality where color and simplicity reign supreme. Flawless, heavy black outlines separate color allowing characters to come to life. Works will include acrylic installations on canvas, plexi glass and wood along with a very special new toy prototype. A limited run of prints, signed by the artist, will also be available at the reception.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Ray “Three” Robinson 3 is a San Francisco based artist and designer. His style can be described as colorful, character-heavy and pleasantly flat with aspects of both retro and contemporary design. Heavily influenced by graffiti and cartoons, his works span murals, canvas, sculpture, fashion, and multimedia design.
