One of the most prolific and recognizable artists alive today, Ron English has bombed the global landscape with unforgettable images, on the street, in museums, in movies, books and television.
Ron English coined the term POPaganda to describe his signature mash-up of high and low cultural touchstones, from superhero mythology to totems of art history, populated with his vast and constantly growing arsenal of original characters, including MC Supersized, the obese fast-food mascot featured in the hit movie “Supersize Me,” and Abraham Obama, the fusion of America’s 16th and 44th Presidents, an image widely discussed in the media as directly impacting the 2008 election.
Other characters carousing through English’s art, in paintings, billboards, and sculpture include three-eyed rabbits, udderly delicious cowgirls and grinning skulls, blending stunning visuals with the bitingly humorous undertones of America’s Premier Pop Iconoclast.

Toy Art Gallery is very proud to present its first bronze sculpture; “Hapiko” by Yosuke Ueno.
Hapiko, as described by Yosuke, is a Lucky God, common in Japanese folklore since ancient times. She is a quintessential Yosuke Ueno character, a smooth, innocent figure, nose-less and without eyebrows. She is often featured in Yosuke’s paintings and represents the Happy Girl.

We’re glad to finally be able to show you something we’ve been working on for a while, the prototype of our very first Cookies -N- Cream designer figure – SNEAKERHEAD. Sneakerhead is an art figure we have been working on bringing to life for quite some time. The piece was conceptualized over a year ago and is inspired by our appreciation for sneakers/sneaker culture. We worked on the concept/initial design and then brought in our friend, Turkish designer Derin “Mekazoo” Ciler who helped refine it to what the final piece now looks like. The image below is the prototype sculpt of the figure and was done by one of the best sculptors in the business – Eric “END” Nocella-Diaz of Argonaut Resins. We will be working on getting a painted version into production and send out more images as the piece continues to develop. We look to also do different colorways and select collaborations in the future. A price will be announced as we get closer to releasing the figure.
Our friend and co-conspirator on a few projects – SuckLord had an art show a few days ago. It was a really dope show with a great turnout. Rather than me talk about it, you’re much better off seeing the pictures from the night, so go here to see them and/or check these pictures by our friend Tom Lichtman. I snagged a few pictures to use below but definitely click the links to see a lot more.
