TOYSTREET – CHEERS.

Huge thanks to everybody who came to the ToyStreet launch! We had a good turnout and it was great to see people come out to support the designer toys/art/culture scene here in NYC. It was truly a blessing to be able to pull this off and we appreciate the support from everyone. This would never have happened without you folks and we look forward to continuing to do many more ToyStreets.

I must mention that we did not do this alone. This event would never have happened without the support of our sponsors, our vendors and numerous other folks who helped spread word about the event. With that said, we would like to say a big thank you to our media sponsors – SpankyStokes, VinylPulse, Toys R Evil, Plastic and Plush. We are thankful beyond what words can describe. We would also like to thank all our vendors for being a part of it and helping make ToyStreet a reality – Sucklord, Toy Tokyo, Toyqube, Marka27, Cubeecraft, TooFly, KupiArt, Giant Robot NY, GoodWood, Dave Cortes, Argonaut Resins, URNewYork, Circa 95, Lee Iturbe, Wrecords by Monkey, Vickipages/No Label Watches, 1HundredB, Rob Luciano (Lil Nayshunz), Ghetto Geppeto, Klusive Brand, LuxSugar (Incredible cupcakes!).

Also, a major thanks to the 2 talented bands that kept us entertained – Elizabeth The Band and Shinobi Ninja. Shout out to our very own Dj Jon Blak as well who kept the good music flowing through the ToyStreet speakers. It was definitely a great launch of what will be a staple event here in New York City.

Pictures from the event are below. All photos by Rio (Fadsnap Tokyo) as well as some by our friend Frankie Velez. Enjoy.

Thanks again and see you next year at ToyStreet 2011!
