This Thursday – October 1st, Cookies -n- Cream presents FOREVER YOUNG. An art show featuring the works of Destroy & Rebuild Collective.

“When you’re young, life is carefree and all about the pursuit of fun. Then you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You lose your rebellious spirit. Your beautiful and limitless imagination starts to get tainted. You look before you leap and sometimes you don’t leap at all because there’s not always someone there to catch you. Your dreams fade away slowly as the years roll by. You “grew” up.

Why should life be like this? When did it stop being fun? and start being scary? When did you start to lose that childlike imagination that made everything seem possible?

I won’t settle for a monotonous life…that’s why I decided to leave fear behind and be “young” again.To follow my dreams and be whatever I’ve always wanted to be. To never lose that wonderful imagination that makes everything seem possible. To live life…TO LIVE LIFE.
