SNEAK.

This is the next version of Pugzee that will be dropping. It’s the Brandy Anderson version aka the tattoo Pugzee. The buzz on this piece has been crazy! Guaranteed to sell out really quick. I think these will be limited to 200 pieces, not sure yet, I’ll be confirming with Dave Cortes on that. Stay tuned for more info and drop date. I’ve seen it in person and it’s a great piece. I was blown away by how cool it looked. Trust me, you don’t want to miss the boat on this one!

COOL CUSTOMS.

I came across this article showcasing 60 different custom toy designs. For those who are not familiar with what is meant by custom toy design – the toy itself is a blank canvas, usually all white with no paint and an artist or designer gets to paint them or customize them whichever way they want. I love looking at custom designs because it really gives people a chance to be super creative with what they come up with. It’s also a really good form of expression for an artist or anybody in general. The article has 60 really cool designs, some great stuff to look at. I’ve posted my top 10 below but go here to check them all out and decide on your top 10.

Much props to the homie Panama on this!

MEET NOEL DONALDSON.

Noel Donaldson is an outsider artist who is a very good friend of ours. He sells his paintings on the street in Harlem by 125th street and online. His style is a pretty unique one or at least much different than what you would see from other artists on the streets of NYC. Really talented artist. He’s a pretty cool guy too, has a very good soul. Lots of people from all walks of life have fallen in love with his pieces and he’s been able to sell a lot of art on the streets all by himself. We’re most likely going to be sponsoring an art show with him sometime soon but in the meantime, check out some of his pieces below. You can also find out more info on him via his website here.

FRESH.

Nice day in NYC yesterday. Spent the day hanging out and enjoying the nice weather. Caught some pics along the way. Enjoy.

Some graf art by Mulberry st & Jersey st….

Ran into a Cookies -n- Cream sticker…The Cookies Mob runs deep.

You don’t know about Baked by Melissa?

Try the Cookies -n- Cream cupcakes…please try not to bite your fingers off while eating it.

more graf art….

ended up in Union Square which was busy as hell of course….

….ran into our lovely friend Jess aka The insatiable dance machine (meaning she can dance better than anybody you know…or will ever know)…

….and she happened to be hanging out with the homie Dave who is Panama‘s manager….

I ended up hanging out with Jess for a couple of hours….I can explain the picture below. No she is not a devil worshipper. While we were hanging out by Union square, we saw some little girl handing out these tiny pamphlets and wondered what it was she was giving out. What Jess is holding is what she was handing out. True Story…and yes we live in a very strange world.

WHOLE IN THE WALL.

It’s always amazing to see how big street art/graffiti culture has become. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that this is that same street culture that we grew up on. I still remember when this wasn’t considered a “legitimate” art form or when folks looked down on kids who did graffiti/street art. Funny how things have changed. I got a chance to check out the Whole In The Wall art exhibit that’s currently at The Helenbeck Gallery in NYC and it was an incredible experience. Lots of wonderful street art. This is definitely an art exhibit that everybody should go check out. Trust me, this is watching something historic happening. I took some pictures below that should whet your appetite but nothing beats actually going there to see the pieces.

Here’s some info about the exhibition –
Whole In The Wall is the largest American & European street art exhibition in New York and it features works by Victor Ash, Banksy, Blade, Blek le Rat, Crash, Daze, Ikon, Jonone, Nunca, Plateus, Quik, Lee Quinones, Rammellzee, Sharp, Sozyone, Henry Chalfant, Martha Cooper, Jamel Shabazz, Silvio Magaglio. You can visit their website here for more info. Also, check out this nice article that was done on the exhibition by the NY Times.

PANAMA – MAKE IT LAST.

Congrats to the homie Panama on his new video and single – Make it last. Check it out below. You should also be able to spot him wearing some Cookies -n- Cream goodness in the video. This right here and that right there. Panama is an up and coming rapper who’s been building a strong buzz within the industry. Some of you might also recognize him from his role on the HBO hit show – The Wire. Definitely a dude on the grind. Keep doing your thing Panama!
